Austen Birthday Tea & Talk
The Central Virginia Region is celebrating Jane Austen’s birthday all weekend!
On Saturday, December 13, join the Region for a traditional English tea of scones, clotted cream, fruit, an assortment of teas, plus birthday cake incelebration of Jane Austen's 250th! Cost for the tea is $32.
Guest speaker is Susan Fraiman, professor of English at the University of Virginia, who will give a presentation on "Jane Austen on the Global Stage."
