Coastal Bend Region: Jane Austen Ball and Tea

Jane Austen Ball and Tea

Join the Coastal Bend, Texas, Region for a celebration of the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen's birth and the official kick-off of our new region! The event is free and open to the public, for adults 18+. It is being organized and hosted by Corpus Christi Libraries (La Retama Branch) in partnership with the Coastal Bend Region. Celebrate with dancing, activities, and tea.

Regency attire is admired but not required.

The Jane Austen Society of North America is dedicated to the enjoyment and appreciation of Jane Austen and her writing. JASNA is a nonprofit organization, staffed by volunteers, whose mission is to foster among the widest number of readers the study, appreciation, and understanding of Jane Austen’s works, her life, and her genius.
