The Greater Louisville Region invites you to Grand Regency Day, a celebration of all things Austen at the historic Pendennis Club.
The day will begin with a luncheon and featured speaker Alden O'Brien, recently retired curator of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) costume collection in Washington, D.C., who will give a talk on "Shocking Regency Fashions." The Milsom Street Shops, which showcase distinctive vendors in the Pendennis Club's beautifully hand-painted, wallpapered rooms, will be open in the afternoon. An afternoon dance practice will be followed by dinner and the evening's highlight, The Pemberley Ball, an enchanting evening of music and dancing.
