The Jane Austen Society of North America has 80 regional groups across the United States and Canada.
Each Region plans and hosts local meetings and events—from discussions of Austen's novels to speaker events, workshops, and celebrations of Jane Austen's birthday. Some events may be open to the public as well. To participate in a JASNA Region, you must be a member of JASNA. Once you become a member, you may join in the activities of one or more of our regional groups.
If your state or province isn't listed in the directory, please check to see whether there is a nearby Region in a neighboring state or province. If not, you might want to consider forming a new JASNA Region in your area or opt to join JASNA's Virtual Region, created for members in North America who live too far from a Region to participate in in-person events.
Members may change or add a Region affiliation(s) at any time in the JASNA Member Portal.
